I am going really well; and I will write again as soon as Atilla the Physio gives me a break ... ahhhh, here he comes again ... run ... oh OK maybe not run ...
Sorry I missed your last couple posts. I read blogs by reader and it seems I have a delay sometimes! So glad to hear about your surgery, and it sounds like you are doing very well, very positive! Good for your physio to keep you up and going, and good for you for doing it! My firstborn arrived by emergency surgery, an inverted T-section that made me the number one stop on the student doctor tour of the maternity ward. Problem was, they often had to track me down! A physio came in the evening of my delivery and told me that the sooner I moved, the sooner I'd feel better - did I want to try? I didn't, but I did it anyway. 34 staples in the tummy did not make getting up easy! but I did it. By the next day I was roaming the halls on my own, getting showered and dressed, etc. I had to stay in hospital 5 days due to blood pressure issues following the emergency, and although the student doctors were annoyed at my not being a layabed display, the nurses were thrilled with me. Sad thing was, I was the only mom who roamed the halls the entire time I was there, despite a full house :( and the only one fully dressed and walking at checkout time. I guess others didn't believe the physio about getting up and going! I had to have a repeat c-section with my daughter, and although I didn't have someone pushing me to get up, I did it anyway, and was feeling so good I wanted to leave the hospital the second day (they wouldn't let me until the third though). I believe in good therapists!! Hope yours continue to take such great care of you and get you 100% mended and on the go soon!
Having read Veronica's Secrets first, I now know that you are OK and getting better. Instead of The Boxer I now think of another appropriate song, with the Swinging Blue Jeans, "The Hippy Hippy Shake", or should that be "hippie"? ;-) Cheering you on!

Thank you ... and what you say is so true!

Even the swinging blue jeans sounds good; but the hippy hippy shake may take a few days yet!
Thank you
